About Alan

As the founding principal of Lankford | Fendler + associates, Alan opened the doors over 30 years ago to what is now a staple in the MEP engineering sector. He continues to utilize his over 35 years of multi-disciplinary experience and knowledge to review, analyze, and adapt to new innovative technologies from start to finish. His passion for sustainable design, energy efficient buildings and new technologies has earned him the reputation as a trailblazer in the field. He continues to be a go-to on-call MEP consultant for a number of projects throughout the business. In his free time, Alan enjoys spending time with his daughters or grandsons, watching his favorite sports teams, or volunteering with one of the many local charities and nonprofit organizations he supports.
